JEE or Joint Entrance examination is viewed as the most esteemed examination for getting admission in the field of B. Tech and B. Curve. The notification for applying for JEE Main 2018 has been released from 22 November 2017.
A candidate shall have total three attempts to clear JEE Main.
Although class XII marks will not be taken into consideration for calculating JEE Mains rank, it is necessary for any candidate to have scored atleast 75% marks. (Or they should be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam of any recognised board.
The application process is completely online.
Application process will continue till December2018.
Further, there is provision to pay the application fees offline as well as online.
It is mandatory for the applicants to have Aadhar Card. (those who don’t have Aadhar card need to apply for it. In the meanwhile they can upload their Aadhar acknowledgement number).
Moreover, candidate do NOT need to send any hard copy of any document (application form, any mark sheet etc) to the institute.
It is mandatory for the aspirant to have qualified class XII. However, appearing students can also apply.
Provisions for corrections in the filled in application form (in certain fields) will be allowed later.

Eligibility Criteria -JEE Main 2018
It is the foremost duty of every candidate to ensure that he or she fulfills every criteria laid down by the exam authority. Here we have provided the eligibility requirements for JEE Main 2018. Candidates should give this a look before applying.
Firstly, every candidate should have been born after 31st October 1993.
SC/ST/PwD candidates have a five year relaxation with respect to age limitation.
Candidate should have passed class XII from any recognized state or central board. It should be kept in mind that there is NO minimum percentage for appearing in JEE Main 2018.
Every candidate should have passed in Physics, Chemistry and Maths in the qualifying exam (class XII or equivalent).
Further, students who will be appearing for their XII exam in 2018 can also apply for JEE Main 2018. They have to submit their marksheet at the time of admission.
Diploma holders are also welcome to apply but they will only be eligible to take admission into the IITs.
However, candidates must know that minimum percentage required for admission into the IITs, NITs, CFTIs is 75% in XII boards (for SC/ST/PwD 65%). Or they should be included in the top 20 percentile in the XII examination of respective boards.
JEE Main 2018 consist of two papers, Paper-1 (B. E./B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (B. Arch./B. Planning.).
Application fees will vary according to the papers chosen for appearing and mode of exam i.e. whether online or offline.
